Privacy Policy

Wear (“Wear”, “we”, “us”) is a virtual try-on app and website operated by MY STATIC SELF Ltd. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Wear iOS app and wear.pics (together, the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email hello@hellocomputer.so.

What we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Apple, Google, or email, we receive your email address (or Apple’s private relay address if you choose to hide it) and an account identifier. We use this to create and secure your account.

Photos and generated images.Wear’s core feature is generating images: you provide photos of yourself and of clothing, and the Service produces model photos and try-on images. Photos you submit and images we generate are uploaded to our backend and stored privately under your account so your library can sync and be restored across installs. Your images are only used to provide the Service — we do not use them for advertising, we do not use them to train AI models, and we do not perform facial recognition or build biometric profiles from them.

Clothing imported from links. You can add clothing by pasting or sharing a product link. When you do, the app fetches that page directly from your device to find the garment images on it. The link and page content are processed on your device and are not sent to or stored on our servers — only the clothing images you choose to import are uploaded to your library.

Purchase information.Purchases are made through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. We never see your payment card details. We receive transaction records (product purchased, timestamps, and an anonymized transaction identifier) so we can credit your account and manage your subscription.

Usage analytics. We collect events about how the Service is used — for example that a try-on was generated, an image was exported, or a page on our website was viewed — along with basic device information (device model, OS version, app version). We use this to understand what’s working and to improve the Service.

Waitlist. If you join the waitlist on our website, we collect the email address you enter and store it in our database so we can contact you about access and updates. We don’t use it for anything else, and you can ask us to remove it at any time by emailing hello@hellocomputer.so.

How your images are processed

To generate model and try-on images, the photos you provide are sent from our servers to Google’s Gemini API for image generation, subject to Google’s API terms, and the result is returned to your library. Images are transmitted over encrypted connections and processed only to fulfill your request.

Service providers

We share data only with the providers needed to run the Service:

  • Supabase — authentication, database, and private image storage.
  • Google — Sign in with Google, and AI image generation via the Gemini API.
  • Apple — Sign in with Apple and In-App Purchases.
  • RevenueCat — purchase and subscription management.
  • PostHog — product analytics (hosted in the United States).
  • Vercel — website hosting.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising. Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries.

Retention and deletion

Your images and account data are kept while your account is active. Deleting a model, garment, or look in the app also deletes its cloud copy from our servers. You can permanently delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Delete Account — this immediately removes your account, stored images, and credit balance from our systems, and anonymizes your purchase records so they are no longer linked to you. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription; manage that in your App Store settings. You can also request deletion by emailing hello@hellocomputer.so from the address on your account and we will complete it within 30 days. Analytics events are retained by our analytics provider under its standard retention policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can exercise these by emailing hello@hellocomputer.so.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, images are stored in private storage accessible only through your account, and API access is authenticated. No system is perfectly secure, but we design the Service to keep your photos private by default.

Changes

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We’ll post the updated version here and revise the date above; material changes will be highlighted in the app or by email.
